Players that are consistently slow in their games may be given a warning for sportsmanship violation.

Players should be familiar with the ITC FAQ. SCGG Specific exceptions to the FAQ will be published no later than 30 days prior to the 40k Championships. Unless specifically noted, assume the FAQ will remain unchanged and prepare your list accordingly. Updates and FAQ exceptions will be published on the SCGG website, and no FAQ exceptions published outside of the website will be in effect over the tournament (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, email inquiries etc.).

Per ITC guidelines, a 3 color minimum paint job is required for eligibility for prizes related to the 40k championships. This is not hard to do. Normal raffle prizes for entry to SCGG or for other game systems are not affected by this requirement.  It is highly encouraged for the sake of the event experience for all the participants to paint their armies to the best of their abilities. Better painted armies means better pictures which means better publicity which means better prizes from more sponsors. Be a part of making SCGG the premier event in Utah and the Rocky Mountains in general. Aspire to a higher level of hobby.

New models/rules releases will not be allowed at SCGG if they are published or released less than a month (30 days) before the 40k Championships.
